This tour provides a perfect balance of distance and stability, allowing you to view the best roads and activities France has to offer, whilst crossing the most famous French provinces. Who said you can’t have your cake and eat it!!

This tour has been created to accommodate groups as well as individuals. Riding to your first nights accommodation in Dijon is a relatively simple process and allows you the opportunity to adapt to the foreign roads. The designated route incorporates motorways and dual carriage ways, progress is quick and surprisingly scenic. By the evening you will be ready to check into the hotel. Day two sees you ride from Dijon to the first of your two main bases, Nimes. Here you will spend two nights exploring the local attractions and roads of Nimes. Located on the edge of the Pyrenees the roads, whilst demanding, promise to be full of character. On day four you will move on to Millau, home of the famous Millau Bridge, where you will be based for the next three nights. The village of Millau is situated at the base of a gorge providing breath taking views and lots of vantage points to enjoy the sites. Millau can be as relaxing or as active as you wish to make it. Activities are plentiful, and include rock climbing and white water rafting to name but a few. Or if you simply just want to take an exhilarating but peaceful ride, the roads are more than suitable for bikes. The accommodation in Millau offers a choice of hotel rooms or chalets, depending on your group’s requirements. Facilities include a steam room, sauna, gym, squash courts, bar and swimming pool. Views overlook the mountain and the Millau Bridge. Day seven is the start of your journey north, but by no means the start of your journey home. The first of three stops on the way home includes Limoges, the commercial centre in the Limousin region of France. The Vienne River promises to provide you with great sights for your short stay. In the morning you move on to Chartres, the home of the famous Notre Dame Cathedral. A very pleasant over night is afforded with lots of fine dining available. Finally you move on to the last night’s accomodation in Peronne. Situated on the Somme, history is abundant in the surrounding areas.
