Venture to the centre of Dijon and you shall be greated with amazing buildings such as the Porte Guillaume and the Cathedrale St Benigne. After a brief stay in Dijon you continue south into Nimes. Nimes is a popular tourist venue and arriving in Nimes you can immediately see why. Roman influence is all around with the Ampitheatre and Maison Carree. Located on the south coast of France the weather promises to be fantastic all year round, making it a perfect place to escape the salty winter British roads. With Arles, Ales and Avignon only a short ride away, they are a highly recommended day trip. Here you can visit the perfect beaches on the Mediterranean, or explore the beautiful old ports, you can even enjoy a boat trip. After three nights exploring this beautiful city and its roads you head back up North, returning to Dijon. Deja vu? It most certainly is, lets hope you remembered the cork screw this time!!
