Where there are mountains there are roads. The bigger the mountains, the better the roads. Switzerland has some of the biggest mountains in Europe, and so the best roads. Catch Switzerland in the summer and you can be experiencing the Alps within a day of leaving your house! A must see tour.
Before you arrive in Geneva, you will need to travel through France and to the first night’s accommodation in Chalons en Champagne, your first nights stay. Chalons en Champagne is only a stone’s throw from Troyes, home to the World Champion chocolate maker, Pascal Caffet. Why not try some of his delights? Troyes’ also produce some marvellous champagne, so much so that the centre is arranged in the shape of a champagne cork! On day 2 you ride from Chalons en Champagne to Geneva. Geneva is the biggest city in the French speaking area of Switzerland. In the winter the mountains play host to skiing and snowboarding fans from all over the world. But what’s left when the snow melts is Switzerland’s best kept secret. Roads winding up and down the mountains that were once covered in snow now become a bikers dream. The roads cut seamlessly through alpine laden hills leading you to some of the most tranquil roads in Europe. You will spend 3 days in these amazing surroundings. There are many ride out options available for you here, with some breathtaking spectacles around Lake Geneva. Eventually you must depart Switzerland and the Alps to travel north back to Chalons en Champagne where you will spend the last night of your journey.
